It’s 2016!

Thanks for the continued visits to JDMR2. Although I haven’t updated in a while, I want to assure you all I still have my MR2.

It’s remains tucked away in the garage, and although I don’t plan any more updates for the time being, I’m still keen on keeping ownership of it for as long as possible.

Bye for now!

The Impreza Has Arrived

Keen readers will remember my tale of woe regarding the future of my MR2 upon the arrival of my new car. Well the time has come, as I now have another of my dream cars sitting in my driveway.

First of all, let me introduce you to my 2003 Subaru Impreza STI PPP (Prodrive Performance Pack)

100,000 Milestone!

Not a great deal to report on my car recently; it’s been a rubbish month in regards to personal issues, but I’m still making the most of it with my MR2 in our surprisingly nice summer weather. It makes owning a T-Bar so worthwhile!

And of course the point of this blog post is to commemorate my MR2 reaching a nice big milestone – 100,000 miles! Admittedly, only 14,000 of those have been in my ownership the last (almost) 4 years, but it’s worth a mention!

Taxed, Tested and Ready for 2013

With a fresh 6 months tax and a clean bill of health from the MOT centre, my MR2 is now back on the road for 2013!

As I’ve previously mentioned, this could well be the last year of my MR2 ownership. I wasn’t being completely honest when I said that an impending Impreza was the sole reason for me wanting to sell the MR2. Truth is, I rather badly damaged my back in ridiculous circumstances two years ago and the road to recovery is taking a lot longer than I envisaged.

As you can imagine, driving a lowered sports car with low profile tyres and heavy power steering is doing me no favours at all. Even now, driving on my short daily commute is getting tiresome, and I can no longer enjoy the MR2 as I once used to.

But enough of the sob story, I’ll move on to some real updates worth mentioning.

Moving on to Pastures New?

There comes a time in anything where one has to consider the future. In my case, I now need to do some serious thinking as to the future of this gorgeous MR2 in my ownership.
