Firstly, a massive thanks to Jimmy over at Fueltopia for the organisation and execution of this event… and of course for letting us know about it!
The location: An eerily desolate Santa Pod Raceway…
This however meant it was a fantastic day for running the 1/4 mile. I spent a good portion of the day running the strip, totalling 10 1/4 mile runs 🙂
Of course, my MR2 was running as sweet as ever, however I still didn’t manage to beat my 15.7 second record.

Granted, it wasn’t a massive turnout, and the weather didn’t look too promising (but turned out fantastic in the end)… but it really did turn out to be a brilliant day of racing!
Here’s to many more events such as this being organised in the future!
